Yucy El-Banan, Artistic Director of "Belly Dance for Life" Troupe will be holding auditions on Sunday November 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Colony South Hotel in Clinton,  MD

Audition Information:
Auditions are open to dancers aged 18 and over.
Please prepare a 4-minute piece that best demonstrates your skill and expertise in belly dance. This piece should be set to music which you provide and should highlight Your talent as a dancer.

Who we are
"Belly Dance for Life" troupe is a professional group of Middle Eastern Dance artists specializing in Modern and Folkloric Egyptian Styles whose mission is to preserve and promote the fine art of the Middle East.  We have established a reputation of presenting the Middle Eastern Dance with respect innovation and elegance.

Who you are
1- A motivated and committed dancer with a minimum 2 year formal training in belly dance, performance experience helpful, but not required.
2- A hard working and collaborative team player who is committed to the success and advancement of the organization.
3- A versatile dancer who is able to master choreography and improvisational structures
for multiple performances.

Time Commitment
1- Troupe meetings/rehearsals take place on Sundays at 4:30 PM and Tuesdays at 7:30 PM 2- Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as needed for various performances.
3- Planning, set up and take down time varies depending on troupe activities.

Costume Requirements
New members must be willing and able to purchase some belly dance costumes for performance purposes.
